There must have been time of Intranet planning process to consider about content administration and management and who will be in charge of the responsibility. Distributing ownership of content management can be a great alternative to eliminate the limitation of to down communication which is not only counter active but also meets the goal of an organization in having company Intranet.

Empower your man
Certainly, collaborative tools and information sharing should go hand in hand with a level of freedom within an Intranet. In order to enhance an active and powerful knowledge base, it is important to create a comfortable atmosphere where your employees feel free to contribute content, thoughts, and opinions. By doing so, your employees will get involved with the use of Intranet making the work performance more effective and strengthening working relationship which results in the high degree of job satisfaction.

Managing the content
Use Intranet committees and key representatives to administer your Intranet. These people will monitor the usage of Intranet among employees and make sure that the company Intranet is being used effectively.
