Latitude 0° - Mike Horn, solo around the world along the Equator,Bell and Ross BR01-97
nLatitude 0°, a solo circumnavigation of the world along the Equator using his own resources, i.e. non motorised transport: it's the challenge Mike Horn has set for himself, supported by Sector Sport Watches.
nHis course is within 25 miles north and south of the Equator. After 16 months of struggle to overcome oceans, lakes, jungles, volcanoes, mountains and swampland, he will finally reach his destination: his starting point!
nTo this day, no one has tried to circumnavigate the world along the Equator, solo and unassisted. Mike is the first man to take up this challenge. He is due to arrive in Gabon (from where he started on June 2nd, 1999) mid-October.
