If you have a product or service to sell, the best way to reach new customers is through the participation in a trade show booth. Trade shows specific to the theme of your business bring in potential customers interested in what you have to offer. The best way to capture new customers in this manner is to have eye-catching trade show displays, which show your brand, your product, and your promise of service. Brand recognition through the prominent and professional marketing of your logo will lead to an increase in sales.

Trade show displays need to be created in order to attract the attention of passers by. Invest in professionally created banners that are sturdy, but lightweight and portable. Place the banners and largest displays where people entering the show will best see them, inviting them into your booth. Your booth should be set up so that it is easy to enter with space for potential customers to interact with you and others to view your promotional materials. Most sales are made through the personal interaction with the people who are there to represent your company at your trade show booth, so choose these people wisely.

It is best to have the information presented in the trade show displayed at eye level. Set up a laptop that is playing a promotional loop or set up to display your home page. Utilize registration online whenever possible or develop a method to capture email addresses and other contact information from your potential customers through drawings for discounts or free services. Make sure the information presented in your trade show display is useful and eye-catching.

When planning your trade show displays, locate a company that can partner with you to produce affordable quality products, such as trade show displays that are modular, so that you can fill a large or small space with coordinated display pieces. The marketing vendor you choose should offer quality products and services and stand behind the items they produce for you. With a limited budget for advertising and marketing, ensure you get the maximum exposure and sales with minimal expense. Acquiring all the versatile promotional banners, brochures, and displays from one vendor will ensure you get the professional polished look that will attract customers to your trade show booth as opposed to that of the competition.

Putting together a professional looking and effective trade show display will allow your new customers to see the best of what you have to offer at a glance. Allow adequate space and time to set it up properly, with the best materials you can afford. If you have pens, business cards, brochures for people to take home with them, or samples to try, they should all be readily available in your booth. Ensure there is a personal connection with potential customers by keeping at least two of your best promoters available in the booth during all hours of the trade show. By giving attention to these details, your trade show experience should provide you with a great return on your investment.
