Steps in Web Development and White Label Hosting

by: elliottharvell on Date: Wed, 22 Dec 2010 Time: 1:23 PM

Does anyone in the world do not know how to use the Internet? The Internet is a fundamental part of business. Nowadays, almost all companies have their own websites. Websites enable them to promote, advertise, and sell their products to their target market. They can sell products to customers in distant areas. In developing countries, banking is also done on the internet.

The Internet is composed of websites, web pages, and chat devices. Websites are the basic components of the Internet. There are four steps in creating a website. These are conceptualization, development, launching, and maintenance. Conceptualization and development are performed by website owners and developers. On the other hand, launching and maintenance are conducted by web hosts. Website owners pay for the services of web developers and hosts.

During conceptualization, web developers establish strategies and tactics for the completion of a website. They discuss goals and objectives of a web project with the website owner. Basically, strategies and tactics must be in line with the goals of a project. Project strategies include applications for web development. These include programming language, graphics, programs, and software. Web developers lay down dates of completion of a website.

After conceptualization, developers create designs for web pages. They gather all necessary information and content for the website. These include articles, photos, and videos. They arrange contents in the form of a programming language. After this, they submit web template to a web host. There are two categories of web hosting: conventional web hosting and white label hosting.

Typically, web hosts include their name and logo during web launching. White label hosting services exclude business promotion in their client’s website. White label hosts provide the same web hosting services. They generate URLs and IP addresses for the website. They get these from cpanel and WSH software. Like conventional web hosts, they provide specific slot for new websites.

During maintenance, companies provide assistance to their clients. They help troubleshoot programming errors and broken links. They coordinate with clients for updates in hosting programs. They review traffic in websites. Some website owners prefer white label hosting than conventional web hosting. Anonymity is the main service feature of white label web hosts.
