Graphics:

Raster graphics such as TIF and JPEG files must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch). Images with a resolution less than 300 dpi will reproduce poorly - the image will look fuzzy and/or pixilated.

Website Images:
If your images are from a website on the internet, there is a 90% chance that they will not contain a high enough resolution for printing. The only exception is if  the images came from a stock photography house and are designated high resolution.

The internet displays images at 72 dpi, so that the images appear quickly over an internet connection, but under no circumstances should they be used for printing. If you submit low-resolution files for printing, you will have to sign a waiver acknowledging that you are aware of the resulting loss of quality, and that as the customer are authorizing the printing of that image.

RGB-to-CMYK conversion of your images
You will have more control over the appearance of your printed piece if you convert all of the images from RGB to CMYK before sending them to us. Be aware that computer monitors can display colors in RGB that will not make the conversion to CMYK. These colors are said to be "out of the CMYK color gamut". It's best to select any colors you use for fonts or other design elements in your layout using CMYK definitions instead of RGB.
