I remember taking a job right after graduation at a call center for ‘home water treatment systems'… glamorous, right? It was an in-between position where I was supposed to ‘qualify homeowners’ and set appointments so that the sales team could go to the homes & sell the system. It was a quick buck while trying to land another, more ‘proper’ job. I showed up eager on my first day to the most unwelcoming and stale environment. My “training” was a sad piece of printer paper with a numbered list of instructions on how to begin each call. There was a number to call for ‘help’, however, the phone number was non-legible! Needless to say, this ‘training document’ was not useful! In this role, at that time, there also wasn't a ‘training supervisor’ to help get properly ‘trained. This was not an enjoyable experience…. not b/c it was difficult (it wasn't), and not b/c I ‘failed’ (I didn't; I was ‘best appointment setter’ for the 3mos that I was there!) … it was because I know for myself, that I need people around me, that human connection. Louie Bischoff - Owner Louie lives in the Phoenix, AZ area. She has had the opportunity to work directly with Facebook/Instagram in their SMB Advertising Area - where she learned many tips & tricks to make the 'algorithm your friend' for ads!! She has had her own marketing business with small business clients located throughout the world on and off since 2006, with an emphasis on Social Media Marketing and Marketing Strategy, Louie has her MBA in International Marketing from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Prior to focusing on Digital Advertising, she built a career in the consumer product industry as a Product Manager. Louie was an award-winning adjunct faculty member at Thunderbird Graduate School where she has taught Business Communication/ Business Writing classes. She also lived overseas in Taipei, Taiwan for six years while teaching business communications with international companies. In addition to her MBA in International Management, she has her BA in Broadcast Journalism/English (minor) from the University of Arizona. Louie has two teenage sons.
